The Russian Academy of Sciences organizes an international online conference Immune Regulation as a Basis for New Technological Solutions on April 29, 2026.
Modern biomedical research faces a number of fundamental challenges, and understanding of the mechanisms of immune regulation and their application in the development of innovative technologies plays a key role in this process. The leading research centers say, that over 80% of chronic diseases are associated in some way with immune dysfunction, beginning with autoimmune pathologies, and ending with cancer and inflammatory processes. Nowadays, we see an increase of resistance to existing therapies and the emergence of new pathogens, so the study of immune regulation starts to be a key area that can radically change the existing approaches to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of a wide range of diseases.
During the conference, international experts from different countries will present the results of their research and discuss the following relevant questions:
- modern achievements in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic immunobiotechnologies;
- implementation of systems based on artificial intelligence for modeling immune responses and predicting the effectiveness of therapy;
- technologies for the modulation of the immune response in oncological and autoimmune diseases;
- new approaches to the development of vaccines and adjuvants;
- the role of the microbiome in the regulation of immunity;
- application of bioinformatic tools for the analysis of immune networks;
- ethical and regulatory aspects of the implementation of immunotechnologies.
An international conference is an important step towards establishing a unified scientific platform for knowledge exchange and for the consolidation of efforts in immunological research. This will accelerate the implementation of breakthrough technologies and improve the effectiveness of the fight against socially significant diseases.
